Common Causes For Hairfall
Hair fall is a common problem faced by both men and women. But men are more likely to lose their hair than women because men go bald. But hair thinning and hair loss are also common in women. Reasons for hair fall can range from vitamin deficiency to the more complex health condition.
Common causes for hair fall could be; Hyperthyroidism, Acute stress disorder, male pattern of baldness, pregnancy, lack of protein, heredity, emotional stress, dramatic weight loss, Chemotherapy, aging, scalp infection, dandruff, using birth control pills.
Physical stress due to surgery, an accident, illness, or even flu can cause hair fall. One in 10 women between the ages of 20 – 50 has anemia which is a deficiency of Iron in the body. Over styling is another common cause for hair fall. Extreme styling includes tight braids, hair weaves and cornrows, dreadlocks, using heat equipment like hairdryer straighteners and curlers, also using strong chemicals in shampoos and other hair products that affect the hair roots and does not allow hair to grow again.

Fruits and vegetables are rarely added to the daily diet, which leads to various ailments related to vitamin deficiencies, including affecting your skin and hair, resulting in hair loss, hair thinning or baldness.

Vitamin B or so-called Biotin help create red blood cells, which carry oxygen and nutrients to the scalp and hair follicles. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that helps protect against the oxidative stress caused by free radicals which can block the growth and cause your hair.
Also having foods like sweet potatoes, carrots, pumpkins, spinach, milk, egg, yogurts, whole grains, almonds, meat, poultry foods, strawberries, pepper, guavas, citric fruits, seafood, fish, etc. are very essential for hair growth.
